Hi Birders,
I've just completed a 3 week twitch from Melbourne to SW Qld to Alice Springs and back via Adelaide and Port Fairy.
Birding details are as follows:-

TARGETS

Red-tailed Black-cockatoo       Ssp grapogyne, Sandy Track west of Casterton
Crimson Rosella         Ssp subadelaide, Telowie Gorge CP
Blue Bonnet                     Ssp heamatorrhous, 50k south of Cobar
Banded Whiteface                5.8k east of Marla (150m north of borrow pit)
Grey-fronted Honeyeater Ssp plumus, 27k past Alice Springs airport on Santa Teresa road
Grey Honeyeater         Kunoth Well - 3.5k up and 50m north of HDYC road,(refer 
T&T)
White Browed Babbler Kunoth Well - 7k up and 300m north of HDYC road,(refer T&T)
Pied Currawong          Ssp ashbyi, 20k west of Heywood
Singing Bushlark                Ssp secunda, 5k east of Port Germein

Black-eared Cuckoo              25k north of Port Augusta
Splendid Fairy-wren             Many nesting pairs at Kunoth Well
Southern Emu-wren               Bank of Glenelg River at Myaring Bridge north 
of Dartmoor
Slaty-backed Thornbill          Kunoth Well
Chestnut-breasted Whiteface     32k north of Marla
Chestnut-breasted Whiteface 12k south of Coober Pedy(refer Ken Rogers 27/8/02 Birding-aus)
Whitefaces                      The 3 species seen in one morning north and 
west of Marla
Grey-fronted Honeyeater Common at Telowie Gorge CP
Gibberbird                      Near Ranger's Headquarters, Diamentina NP
Southern Scrub-robin            Common at Telowie Gorge CP
Halls Babbler                   40k south of Quilpie
Cinnamon Quail-thrush           21k north of Erldunda,(refer T&T)
Gruond Cuckoo-shrike            25k north of Port Augusta

TARGETS MISSED

Letter-winged Kite (no info for specific sites),
Ostrich and ssp's of White-browed Treecreeper, Chestnut-rumped Heathwren, Rufous Fieldwren and
Chestnut Quail-thrush (all 'dipped' in cold rainy conditions)
