In case (a) anyone believes that migrating Latham's Snipe are selecting just PNG and NSW as preferred destinations or (b) Mike Tarburton (Hi, Mike) thinks that we're not diligently collecting data - There was a Latham's Snipe at Buckley's Hole, Bribie Island on 15/8 and one at Samsonvale on 16/8; these being two prime birding destinations not very far north of Brisbane (SEQ). There are also good numbers of Spotless Crakes about at the moment but I suspect that is consequent of mud rather than month. Note email is outgoing only. Cheers - Trevor. -------------------------------------------- Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org -------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message 'unsubscribe birding-aus' (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
