Hi all
Good recent advice on book buying. To which I'd add:
1) check amazon.com, but also amazon.co.uk and nhbs.co.uk - and any
others you fancy, though those 3 are excellent for birds
2) before you put in your credit card details, check the total price
including freight, then select whichever outlet is cheapest overall
I find Amazon in the UK frequently undercuts its US "competition", and
any one of them can have recent books on significant special at any one
time but not the others. Also they may be out of print in one country
and not in another. It is the total cost that matters for an identical
item after all. A little bit time-consuming, but all you'd be doing is
cutting into valuable birding time...
