On Tuesday my wife and I stopped at Middle Lagoon in Mimosa National
Park (Bega Valley Shire, Far South Coast of NSW) for a picnic. While
there, we took the track down towards the water and saw a pair of
Hooded Plovers. One was chasing off a pair of Red-capped Plovers.

Does this seem early for Hooded Plovers to be in NSW?
