Today at the WTP (lake borrie outlet), there were about 20-30 double banded plovers - about half developing or in breeding plumage.

There were also similar numbers of red capped plovers, red necked stints, and also about 15 over wintering curlew sandpipers.

Plenty of raptors around too, seemingly one hovering everywhere i looked from avalon airport all along beach road, up to little river.
