Nina wrote "The Crested Pigeons have paved the way though, I found their nest in a Lasiandra outside my bedroom window today. I can keep a good eye on them there, they're sitting on eggs at the moment". Our Crested Pigeons (just out of Dubbo) are now on their sixth successive nesting attempt since last spring - using the same, rather soiled, nest. To date they have raised 2, 1, 2, 2 and 2 young. They are almost certainly on small young at the moment although I haven't checked. Cheers David Geering Regent Honeyeater Recovery Coordinator Department of Environment & Conservation P.O.
