Hi All,

Recently I've received some great shots of birds from the Albany area of WA from Brett Lapthorne and have uploaded them to the ABID. Amongst these there are a couple of shots of fairywrens, both in female/immature male/eclipse plumage. Brett has identified Splendid FW in the area and I think the two shots are probably these but I've just noticed that Red-winged and Blue-breasted FW may also be present there. As I've no experience in the SW WA area (....or WA at all!) I wonder if some B-A readers might like to comment.

The images can be found on http://www.aviceda.org/abid/newimages.php or
http://www.aviceda.org/abid/birdimages.php?action=birdspecies&fid=62&bid=814 (last two)

Tom
