Dear All
Just a quick note to mention birds that were seen at Hirds Swamp on
the 5-6th July. I was there doing a "reccie" for a Field Nats survey
trip there in September.
Notable species were: pair of White-bellied Sea-Eagles, Spotted,
Spotless and Baillon's Crakes, White-backed Swallows,
Australian Bittern, pair of Brown Goshawk and Owlet Nightjar.
In all 55 species were seen over 24 hours.
