Hi all,
There are several Digital-Camera Binocular devices around.
The one's I have noted (I have not used any) appear to be somewhat
'gimmicky' but are probably a bit
better than sample-bag inserts.
However, there is another device about to be released onto the retail
market which may generate more
interest and may be more practical:
The Kowa Prominar TD-1, 3 mp, 1350 mm zoom spotting scope with built-in
digital camera.
Some details of this device can be viewed at:
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0406/04062402kowprominartd1.asp
As with all such compromises there are obvious plus and minus points.
But, if the concept takes off, future models could be worth considering
in place of the current
cumbersome digiscoping set-ups.
Cheers
