Five BAR-SHOULDERED DOVES seen on Mayfair Rd. on Sunday, the
third addition to my Mulgoa list this year.

Hi all,

Just been up in Sydney (Penrith/North Richmond area) for a couple of days (for work) but managed to get out for a few hours on both days.

Highlight was tracking down Rockwarbler (several) at Glenbrook on a sunny, 25 degree day (shock to the system for a frozen Melbournite).

Dipped on RB Treecreeper at Blue Gum Swamp (Winmalee), but saw a Bar-shouldered Dove and Satin Bowerbird in this vicinity.

At North Richmond there was a great variety of woodland spp. (especially smaller birds - thornbills etc) including a single Swift Parrot, Diamond Firetail, many honeyeaters, Double-barred Finch and at least 6 Red-whiskered Bul Buls around the bridge over the Hawkesbury.

Around 65 spp all up in a fantastic birding area,

Cheers,
Greg
