On the CBOC outing to Long Reef on 19 June, one of our number, Roger
Palmer, a visiting birder from Bristol, UK, reported seeing a White
Chinned Petrel on three occasions from Mona Vale. One view was quite
close so he could see the bill details. He spent many hours (days) sea
watching and in that time also saw more than 100 Humpback Whales. The
dates of the WCP were 6, 8 & 12 June.
He also encountered a Brush Bronzewing at Mona Vale on 25 June.
