I am hopeful of going to Bamaga around the 20 - 30th October, and am wondering if most of the northern endemics will have returned to Australia by that time.  I am trying to avoid the worst of the hot weather and cyclones, and would appreciate any info or suggestions, especially birding spots or people to contact.

I need to be able to self-cater.

Thanks in advance

Robyn
