Hi
I would like to ask a question, I am hoping someone may be able to help or advise me.
I picked up an adult Magpie last week who has a broken wing. I have strapped the birds wing and it should heal up within 6 weeks. Being territorial and coming up to breeding season soon, is it too long to keep him out of his area? I was hoping to take him back to where he was from. If he has a partner, will it wait for him or by that time it may have another partner? He would have lost his territory too. Would anyone know if it is too long to keep him out of his area?
