Dear Birders,
I will be travelling back from london in early October through Tokyo and have a couple of days stop over> It occurred to me that this might be an opportunity to see the red crowned crane Grus japonicus in Hokkaido.

Do any readers ahve experience of visiting the the Kurisho marsh where they are reported to breed. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Regards
Peter Marsh
