g'day all,
How lucky we are in Australia to have 4 excellent Field Guides.

Well we are now having a rush of revised Field Guides hitting the
Bookstores --
A little while back Pizzey, then Slater. Now Simpson and Day and I
have just been advised that a new Edition (revised and Updated) of
Michael Morcombe's Field Guide to Australian Birds is being
distributed from the printer.

Its complementing web page can be accessed by either
http://www.michaelmorcombe.com.au/
or
http://www.mmbirds.com/

Interesting the FG preferences of Birdwatchers !
Morcombe is my first reference for the hard ones after my always with
me Slater.

Regards
Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
ps
Mount Isa's Birdwatching locations are included on the gazetteer
section
of Birds Queensland http://birdsqueensland.org.au/
