We remember the bird to which Andy Burton refers, as we went to see it. Allan Richards was no doubt suspicious of its identity, but it was David Siems who was downright disbelieving. It was said that some of the most notable of Sydney birders were deceived. The bird we saw was about 5 sizes too big, according to guides available. Such was life!
