Greetings, 02/06/04 While watching a brilliantly coloured Yellow-breasted Boatbill near the Curtain Fig Tree we were distracted by the flight overhead of two large cuckoos which were almost certainly Oriental. A bit late! A Shining Bronze-Cuckoo at the same location. 01/06/04 The first Pallid Cuckoo for our home block. The bird showed some juvenile plumage on the upper chest and wings but most of the belly was a clean grey colour.
