Hi All
Attached is a message I have received from a Canadian friend about various
copies of The Emu. I have also included at the bottom the text from a word
doc which has more detail.
If anyone is interested please contact me.

>I finished recording the specific issues of the Emu Quarterly and made a
quick measure of the area which they would take up when >stacked in two
ajacent piles. Please see the attachment for details. Assuming that your
friends are interested, I could find a box and >send them off, as long as
someone sends me some loot to cover the cost of mailing them over. If
people do want them, then I will pack >them and find out what it would cost
to ship em over.
>I hope that the people who are interested in receiving this collection
intend to have it located in a place where they would be available >for a
reasonable number of the Australian birder public.

This Emu collection came into my possession as a gift from Mrs. Eve Everitt,
wife of T.A. Everitt, who compiled the index and who was apparently a member
of the Union executive for many years. I am sure that Eve and her husband,
both now deceased, would have liked to see these superbly educational
periodicals in the hands of people who would make far more effective use of
them than can I living here on the west coast of Canada.
The collection has 91 component parts between April 1926 and January 1971,
including 2 copies of the Index (Vol. 1 - XXXVII). Stacked in two piles
side-by-side, it measures about 10 by 10 by 14 inches. I have listed the
copies of the periodical by year, month volume and part as noted below.
