Golden Whistler - Botanic Park, Mt Bates, Red Road, Hollow Pine tracks - quite common.
 Grey Fantail - many sightings all over the island.
 Grey Gerygone - Common on Mt Bates, Red Road, West Palm Glen, Lower Palm Glen, and Hollow Pine tracks. Also in gardens around the island.
 Silvereye - common
 Long-billed Silvereye - quite common on the higher tracks - Mt Bates, Mt Pitt Summit, Red Road.
 Greenfinch - 1 on Mt Bates track
 House Sparrows and Starling - common.
 Kestrel - Kingston  - over the ruins
                 - Mt Bates track
                 - Point Blackbourne
 Swamp Harrier - 2 over Mt Bates track
                             - 1 at corner of Bullocks Hut and Duncombe Rds
                             - 1 at Selwyn Reserve.
 Pacific Golden Plover - ca 20 frequently on the flat areas near the Kingston ruins
                                       - ca 20 at the airport runway distant from the terminal
                                       - ca 10 at the end of Stockyard Rd.
 Ruddy Turnstone - fairly common at Kingston foreshore, flats between Kingston ruins, Point Blackbourne, airport runway.
 Double-banded Plover - Kingston foreshore - up to 14 at a time.
 Whimbrel - 30 on hills near Point Hunter
                     - 12 on reef at Slaughter Bay
                     - 1 at end of Stockyard Rd.
 Bar-tailed Godwit - 1 or 2 around the swamps near Kingston ruins
 Greenshank - 2 at Kingston foreshore - flyover
White-faced Heron - many sightings in paddocks and beaches.
Mallard hybrid - Green Pool Rock from Cooks Monument ca 10
                            - Watermill Dam ca 20.
 Purple Swamphen - 6 on the swampy flats near Kingston ruins.
 Feral Goose - 15 at Kingston
 Brown Noddy - 6 seen from Cooks Monument.
                            - 10+ over Slaughter Bay.
 Black Noddy - common all around the cliffs and beaches.
                           - nesting colony in Hundred Acre Reserve
 White Tern - present all the time everywhere, many young at nests in pines.
 Red Junglefowl - many, in paddocks all over the island.
 Greater Frigatebird - 1 flew past Point Blackbourne.
 Wedge-tailed Shearwater - Flying in to burrows at Anson Point - hundreds.
                                            - some flying over Slaughter Bay
 Boobook Owl ( N.Z. Morepork) - 2 heard Red Road/ J.E rd carpark 30/3 & 31/3
                                        1 heard Hollow Pine track 1/4
                                        3-4 heard in the dip before the entrance to Cooks Monument 3/4
                                        1 called in and spotlighted 2 curves down from the entrance to Hollow                                         Pine track on the Mt Pitt Rd. 3/4
 Red-tailed Tropicbird - many, best seen flying backwards from Cooks Monument.
 Crested Tern - 1 flew over Kingston jetty and ruins.
 Tattler of uncertain species - could have been a Grey tailed - 1 on Kingston foreshore.
