quite common.
Grey Fantail - many sightings all over the island.
Grey Gerygone - Common on Mt Bates, Red Road, West Palm Glen, Lower
Palm Glen, and Hollow Pine tracks. Also in gardens around the island.
Silvereye - common
Long-billed Silvereye - quite common on the higher tracks - Mt Bates,
Mt Pitt Summit, Red Road.
Greenfinch - 1 on Mt Bates track
House Sparrows and Starling - common.
Kestrel - Kingston - over the ruins

- 12 on reef at Slaughter Bay
- 1 at end of Stockyard Rd.
Bar-tailed Godwit - 1 or 2 around the swamps near Kingston
ruins
Greenshank - 2 at Kingston foreshore - flyover
White-faced Heron - many sightings in paddocks and beaches.
Mallard hybrid - Green Pool Rock from Cooks Monument ca 10

Feral Goose - 15 at Kingston
Brown Noddy - 6 seen from Cooks Monument.

White Tern - present all the time everywhere, many young at nests in
pines.
Red Junglefowl - many, in paddocks all over the island.
Greater Frigatebird - 1 flew past Point Blackbourne.
Wedge-tailed Shearwater - Flying in to burrows at Anson Point -
hundreds.

Tattler of uncertain species - could have been a Grey tailed - 1 on
Kingston foreshore.
