Hi Bill, Peter and other robin watchers.
A few years ago I saw a pair of red caps in a fairly recently logged
area of wet forest in Toolangi State Forest, Victorian Central
Highlands. On enquiring, I heard that other people have seen them in
that area in the past, though rarely. Pink, rose and flame are the
regular red robins there.
Cheers,
Merrilyn.

Hi Peter
Both Red-capped and Rose Robins are autumn/winter visitors here at Abberton,
all records for both being April to August.
We often have Rose Robins stay here throughout those months; Red-capped less
frequently, though there are a few more regular spots for them close by.
All the best

Red Caps and Rose robins in the same location??? wow..
That seems unusual coming from Victoria, since Red caps are usually confined
to the drier parts of the state, and Rose robins in the wetter parts.
Is there anywhere else in australia that this happens, or this just an
unusual circumstance/location?
Peter
