Hi everyone

Those who listen to ABC radio may have heard this story already:

A race from Tasmania to South Africa between 18 Tasmanian shy albatross begins tomorrow.

The aim of the race is to raise the profile of the endangered albatross.

Eighteen of the birds have been hand picked from islands around Tasmania and electronically tagged.

The rest of the info is on the ABC website:

Cheers

Russell
