Dear All ...

I am back on the Birding-Aus list ... In the meantime I had
been birding among other in Brasil, Cuba, South Africa and
Indonesia ... !

In Denmark there is a huge focus on Australia, and this year
Denmark celebrate two important australian-danish events :

1. ) The marriage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik
of Denmark and Tasmanian-born Miss Mary Donaldson will
take place on Friday 14 May 2004.

I do keep HRH Crown Prince Frederik informed concerning
the parrots of the world.

2. ) The opening of the large free flying Australian aviary,
founded by the famous danish parrot breeder, Kaj Herse,
at his farm situated near Kolding, Denmark.

This Australian aviary will display a great and unique selection
of the australian parrot fauna ... and is a complete experience
in the sense that many of the parrots flying freely, just like in
the real Australia.

Kaj Herse is working to encourage the parrots to reproduce,
and he bred many different kind of Australian parrot species ... !

Kaj Herse is internationally known for his many breeding
successes, and his reproduction work helps to maintain stocks
of parrots in other avicultural breeding facilities in Denmark as
well as worldwide.

Best wishes,

Peter
