About a week ago (24th) I saw a strange Oystercatcher at Lauderdale (Tas).
It looked very much like a Pied Oystercatcher EXCEPT that it had extensive
white patches on the back. It was at about the limit of my scope's range so
I can't be any more precise - anyone any clues???
