G'day all,
I too would like to know of such a reference for Birds
as Barbara Triggs did for Mammals
(Tracks, Scats and other Traces.. A Field Guide to Australian Mammals)

A much older (and hard to find) book by Rob Morrison
(A FG to the Tracks & Traces of Australian Animals, Rigby, 1981, ISBN 0 7270 1489 7)
contains 3/4 page (pp14) on birds with a brief description of how many toes and which way they print plus a dozen photos p 116 to 117,127 to129 but several are ID as unknown

Regards
Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
