I suggest the book is essential reading for all Wader/Shorebird
enthusiasts.
It is not a book that has to be read from front to back. On every
page was something I found of great interest.
The
8 Chapters are further split so it easy to look up a chosen subject by referring
to the Table of Contents.
Examples: Heat stress, Roosting on small tides, Table manners,
Wriggly worms, Songbirds in the mangroves.
I
just wished I had the book before staying at the BBO last
September
Regards Bob Forsyth, Mount Isa, NW Qld.
ps Have I overlooked BA publicity re the availability of
this book ?
