Is this a portend for the coming footie season. An immature & an adult Torresian crow were finished the dogs breakfast during the week when the resident Aust. Magpie arrived. All feathers fluffed & head lowered.  That was enough for the crows.
One up for the Magpies!

On the afternoon of Wednesday 10th March , an immature Square-tailed Kite  was noted gliding over the bitou covered sand dunes on North Haven beach South of Port Macquarie. No prey was caught & the bird headed off north, after about 10 minutes.
Have there been any other sighting of this bird ?          Jay
