The next NSW Wader Study Group meeting will include a presentation and demonstration about ‘digiscoping’ - taking excellent photographs through your spotting scope using a digital camera.  As this is likely to be of interest to many Sydney birders the NSW WSG has opened the meeting to any interested person.

Chris Herbert will show us what is possible using a scope, tripod and camera. Chris has published a numbers of brochures using his images and has requests for more.

Stephen Morrissey, Sales Manager for Carl Zeiss Pty Ltd has been invited to demonstrate the Zeiss system now available in Australia.
