Hi all, I've received an email from a birding acquaintance who lives at Old Bar near Taree on the mid-north coast of NSW, saying that she saw several Pacific Gulls last week at the lagoon at Saltwater. This was after the area received a drenching of 152mm of rain. How unusual are Pacific, and for that matter Kelp Gulls on that part of the coast? If anyone's in the area perhaps it might be worthwhile checking this out.
