Folks For those within striking distance of Sydney. The Australian Bird Study Association will be holding it's 2004 Scientific Day & AGM at Macquarie University on Saturday 20 March. Details follow or may be found on the ABSA website (www.absa.asn.au/comingevents.html). The theme "The Tasman: a bird's sea" is, obviously, centred around seabirds and their conservation. On Sunday 21 March we are hosting a pelagic out of Wollongong. While preference will be given to those attending the Scientific Day on Saturday I am working on the assumption that there will be places available for those unable to come along on Saturday. Details are as per the usual Wollongong pelagics: Cost $70, depart at 0700 and return at about 1600. Bookings are essential - contact me please.
