Chris Logrunner is uncommon in the rainforests of the Illawarra escarpment from Cambewarra north to Stanwell Park. There is a narrow corridor over into the upper Hacking River catchment where movement might occasionally occur. I know they have been reported from below Kellys Falls at Helensburgh in the past, and the wet gully forests near the station certainly have suitable habitat. for a comprehensive guide on birds of the Illawarra, have a look at my web site www.speedlink.com.au/users/cchafer/index.html cheers chris chafer |
