Just a quick (and belated) message to report seeing a single adult Whiskered Tern in breeding plumage flying over the Duck Pond in Centennial Park, Randwick (Sydney), at 5:20pm on Friday last (23rd). I observed the tern for about five minutes as it flew over the southwestern end of the pond, and then it flew out of view to the other end, after which I didn't follow it. Cheers.
