My description of the Wandering Tattler in this report refered to a bird in non-breeding plumage. Another feature (if you are close enough to see it) I forgot to mention was the nasal groove on Wandering Tattler is usually 2/3 of the bill length. Myself and David were close enough to clearly see this feature of the Wandering Tattler through our scopes.
