Hi,Has anyone seen the Black Bittern at Deep Creek recently (or any other sites around Sydney)? Would be most interested to try and see one. Many thanks Tim. Date: Tue, 2 Dec 2003 12:36:53 +1100 Hi Bruce et al Most occassions I have seen/heard Black Bitterns in Sydney have been in light rain or on overcast conditions.Had one call all morning at Mitchell Park in Cattai (in Sydney's north west)and have heard them in those sort of conditions at Castlereagh NR and at Dharug NP (a few locations in or on the edge of Sydney where they can be found).
