as sorry as I am for the de-footed ASPOs, the "potential SIPO" that I saw
did not have missing feet making it look shorter - the give away being that
the first joint in the leg (what we tend to think of as a bird's knees but
what I believe is actually their ankle) was almost hidden in the plumage of
the bird's belly, whereas with the accompanying ASPO I could easily see a
portion of the upper leg.
