Where to see Superb Parrots between Syd/Adel?

If you can drive from Boorowa to Canowindra through Cowra without seeing a 
Superb Parrot, then you are driving with your eyes closed (not 
recommended!).
I came down this road about a week ago in the mid afternoon (ie, pretty warm 
weather), and saw four different flocks (alive) and (unfortunately) about 
five to six roadkill.
You can leave Sydney on the mid-western highway, detour north to Canowindra, 
and then head down the suggested road and continue on to the Hume hwy.  I 
have also seen Superbs around Carcoar / Mandurama on the Mid Western hwy 
recently (before you would detour to Canowindra.
