My brother rang last night to tell me that he had a male Gang-Gang Cockatoo in the tree in the front of his house at Marino Rocks, a southern Adelaide beach suburb. I suggested that it was probably an escapee from an aviary, but could it possibly be one that travelled a bit further northwest than it should be?
