An interesting weekend of raptors over my house in
Turramurra (N Sydney).
On Saturday, between preparing for, hosting and
then tidying up after my wife's birthday party, the local raptor alert system
(Noisy Miners) put me onto a Nankeen Kestrel, a Peregrine and a Brown
Goshawk. (The latter two are regularly seen, the kestrel less
so.)
Today (Sunday) the Goshawk was seen again
(mid-morning) and mid-afternoon a Pacific Baza flew over.
Not a bad "collection" given I wasn't supposed to
be birding at all.
Cheers
