Dear All

I have now obtained a copy of Ian Newton?s Biogeography and Speciation of
Birds and am enjoying it immensely. It?s very clear and well written and I?d
recommend it to anyone.

NB With the rising dollar it?s now worth ordering direct from the States, as
I got my copy for less than $100 (including air-mail). I believe Andrew
Isles is selling it (copies bought at a lower exchange rate) for $140. Worth
ordering second-hand books from the States now, track titles down at
bookfinder.com and order from the dealers in the States and ask for surface
mail (if you?re not in a hurry). UK and Europe are still pricey, though.
