Hello all, & especially John,
It was a satisfying day out in Nth Vic last Friday John - as your report
showed. It was good to catch up with you and the others. I also picked up
some Australian Pratincoles after seeing you and the others off. If you are
able, a little more time would make it an even a better day next time.
Thanks for the compliment of calling me an "expert", however I must decline
the honour. I reckon the experts are the likes of Mike Carter, Phil Maher,
Fred Smith, Rohan Clarke etc etc. I perhaps fit into the "enthusiast"
category! It is still a good time of the year for a large variety of birds
in Nth Vic. Hope you can get up this way again soon. Our little network up
here are also pleased to catch up with Birding-aus visitors.
