Help with identification

Can someone please help with identifying this bird, I have posted three
pictures at
http://members.optusnet.com.au/ozbirds/newbirds.html

I have been all through my books, but nothing depicted there seems to have
the same shaped white marking, no doubt it is something common, but if I do
not ask, I will never find out.

The birds in question (there were a pair of them), were in a thicket of
bottle brush alongside the Olympic Regatta Course at Penrith
