Just caught a glimpse of two yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo's flying across the edge of Melbourne city. I'm in a building at the top end of Nicholson Street, East Melbourne and am used to seeing feral pigeons, ravens and the occasional raptor flit past the windows near where I sit (I'm on one of the upper floors)... however, these two black birds were none of these. The yellow cheek patch and wing-beats were unmistakable! Has anyone else seen YTBC's flying across or around the city? Caroline :-) Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
