I took my first trip into the city for many years, the other day and the first thing I heard, then saw, were a small flock of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos feeding in trees on the railway side. This was on the southern side of the Treasury Gardens, in Melbourne. It certainly surprised me but can city workers tell me if it's unusual.
