Chris,
I spent 3 days at Chambers & am going back for a week next year. I had Spotted
Catbirds & Victoria's Riflebirds coming to the veranda after bread, as well as
Eastern Whipbirds. The Riflebirds display in Nov, which is why I am going back.
A pic I had enlarged of a male Riflebird, was described by David Attenborough (I
gave it to him at a recent book signing) as "splendid"!
Chambers is also good for mammals.
Hasties Swamp looked good but we had no time to stay - you need a good lense
or scope.
Kingfisher is meant to be excellent - 3 days pplanned there. I also recommend
Red Mill House in the Daintree Village & Chris Dahlberg's boat tour - I've done
it
twice now. If you are on Ozbirdpics, I will start scanning in soon & posting a
few
of my humble efforts.
