Hello everyone,

Daniel Mantle and I went out to the Kaurna Park Wetland, suburban Adelaide,
yesterday and picked up three Wood Sandpiper, all in slightly varying plumages.

They were in the main pond to the west and associating with sharpies. I had
never seen them previously. The first thing I thought when I saw the first of
these was that it looked a little like an over-sized Common Sandpiper, head-
bobbing to boot.

We too, as with Tony Russell a few days earlier, went out to Penrice and were
unable to locate the Long-toed Stint or Ruff.

Regards,
Michael
