Hi all, I've just been told of a friend's sighting of Crimson Chats somewhere along the road between Dubbo and Mudgee (central west NSW), about a week ago. Add this to other recent sightings of CCs - a group at Amaroo (which I take it is in/near Canberra, as reported on the COG-list) and the female bird reported in the Capertee Valley last month by David Hair, and it seems that Crimson Chats are currently dispersing east of their more "normal" range. One to look out for.
