There are amazing numbers of Scarlet Honeyeaters around Sydney at present. We have had a flock at Oatley Park and last Saturday and today 29/10 we had close views of many at Mitchell Park (Hawkesbury area) including some on nests. Other sightings were the two Channel-billed Cuckoos in our garden, at Peakhurst, causing much consternation to our local Pied Currawongs etc. Judi & Neil Russill Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
