There are amazing numbers of Scarlet Honeyeaters around Sydney at present.
We have had a flock at Oatley Park and last Saturday and today 29/10 we had
close views of many at Mitchell Park (Hawkesbury area)
including some on nests.   Other sightings were the two Channel-billed
Cuckoos in our garden, at Peakhurst,  causing much consternation to our
local Pied Currawongs etc.  Judi & Neil Russill
