Hi folksHad a walk today in the Traveston/Tandur area of SEQ and came across a fruiting Pigeonberry Ash tree full of Wompoos, Topknots and both Rose-crowned and Purple-crowned fruit doves. Spectacular views of all species. While rose-crowned are always in the area, the purple-crowns seem to pass through in Sep/Oct and again in Mar/April. Also of interest was a brood of white-naped honeyeaters fluttering about. Cheers Andrew _________________________________________________________________Protect your inbox from harmful viruses with new ninemsn Premium.
