Hi
Roy,
It
would appear to be a male Red-rumped parrot although you can not see the red
rump on your photos.
Quite
common in NW Sydney, usually accompanied by the female who is of similar size,
but a muddy
olive
colour. Sometimes I see them in small flocks, especially after rain, splashing
around in a pool of water.
