Hi all, Well, two weeks in Broome and surrounds is just about to start for me. Three of us are flying up to stay at the Observatory and then do a few trips. As with everyone I guess Black Grasswrens are high on the wish list. I have searched the archives and seen a few entries back to about 1998, including Sean's comments from the Big Twitch. The question is, has anyone seen the birds at Mt Eleizabeth station recently? We can not get as far as the Mitchell River so we are hoping for some closer to Broome. Mt Barnett Station is another location mentioned in the 1984 Atlas and I have also heard it is a possibility. thanks in advance Jen Spry Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
