Colin et al,

As some one who grew up thinking of Cairns as ' down south', it amuses me to
read, "Just south of Bundaberg, south end of Central Qld coast, 370 kms
north of Brisbane."

Working on the fact that Qld extends from 29 degrees South to well north of
10* S, I would like to suggest that North Queensland lies north of Cairns at
17*S and southern Queensland lies south of Yeppoon at 23*S. Hence Bundy is
well and truly in southern Queensland.

At least Colin's assertion is far more reasonable than the reference to
Bundaberg on our ABC (just last week) as being in north Qld.

Regards from the top of central Queensland, Yungaburra, jewel of the
Atherton Tablelands, Long. 145* 33' 25"E Lat. 17* 16' 40"S,
Alan
